Let Your Words Find Expression

Pause. Don’t answer yet.
As Christians, we tend to live our lives with more of a ‘mind your business’ attitude, which is totally fine. But! Would we be believers today if the person who talked to us about Jesus minded their business? I’m getting somewhere… We really shouldn’t poke our noses in people’s matter but what really about others is our business? The answer is this: where they would spend their life after death. Yes, there is really life after death. The resurrection of Jesus Christ witnessed by over 500 people who couldn’t all be insane/hallucinating at the same time, is proof that there is indeed life after death. But where we spend this life is very important as we know it’s not Earth. As Christians, we are called to love, to live our lives like Christ. Christ wants the best for us all, His will is that all men be saved.
“For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;”
1 Timothy 2:3-5 KJV
While we love others, we wish the very best for them, we want them to have eternal life and not condemnation, we make their salvation our business! We truly express our love and not just say it. We show our love to people by the way we behave towards them, including our thoughts towards them. While we love others, we wish the very best for them, we want them to have eternal life and not condemnation, we make their salvation our business Click To Tweet
Now let’s answer the question at the beginning:
What if Christ only came to earth to say “I love you” and then He just ascended right back up to heaven? Would we truly understand?
Answer: No. I’m afraid not.
“We love him, because he first loved us.”
1 John 4:19 KJV
And if we love God, we understand His love us us and the world and we love them too.
“Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us. Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit.”
1 John 4:11-13 KJV
He came to teach us how to love, how to act and react as His children, how to represent Him on Earth and He has put His Spirit in us as our Helper. Glory to God! We therefore can love because it is our nature, a fruit of the Spirit at work in us. We love not “because of” but “in spite of “.Click To Tweet
Dear believer, today, give yourself to love. Show it, express it, live it. It is who you are. I love you and God is crazy in love with you ♥️
