Beware of false teachers... they are like wolves in sheep clothing

Here comes the finalllll! We made it!πŸ™ŒπŸ½ This is going to be the shortest entry so far but I want you to learn from it still. Let’s go…πŸƒπŸ½β€β™€οΈπŸƒπŸ½β€β™€οΈ

16:1– Phoebe was the woman who delivered Paul’s letter to the Romans. She was highly commended by him.

16:1-15– These verses consist of a list of people who received Paul’s greetings in Rome. They were both Jews and Gentiles, men and women, slave and free.

16:16- Greeting with a holy kiss was a cultural thing amongst the Jews. Some countries in the world today still do this.

16:17-20– Paul tells believers to beware of those who teach false doctrines, for they do it for their own benefits. The believers in Rome knew what was right, just like Paul acknowledged in Romans 15:14,

β€œNow I myself am confident concerning you, my brethren, that you also are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, able also to admonish one another.”

‭‭Romans‬ ‭15:14‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Yet, Paul advised them to be wise, as the false teachers were cunning.

Beware of false teachers... they are like wolves in sheep clothing

16:21-23– Timothy, Lucius, Jason, Sosipater, Tertius (who wrote the letter for Paul), Gaius, Erastus and Quartus sent their greetings to the church in Rome.

16:25-27– Paul ends his letter glorifying God.
