Service to God
It talks about salvation by grace and not works. And now…
“Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling; for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.”
Philippians 2:12-13 NKJV
“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.”
Ephesians 2:10 NKJV
After salvation, what comes next? Do we just sit down and do nothing, keeping the Gospel to ourselves? Absolutely not! That, my friends, is a selfish act. You grow, not just for your sake but for the sake of others, because they will depend on you to hear the Gospel of Christ and for growth, whether you like it or not. Same way, you will depend on others to truly grow.
A piece of advice? Be accountable to someone or have a mentor who is spiritually sound, you will not regret this action. This should be a person you can trust.
Keywords: “someone”, “A mentor”
Not a million and one people. This will only lead to confusion and you definitely do not want all your business all over the place.
As you grow, you work out your salvation. Realise that you are the salt of the earth and light of the world and let your light shine so bright that others may see your “good works” and glorify your Father in heaven (Matthew 5:13-16)
Work for God, love Him and your neighbours. God will surely reward you but let your acts of service be synonymous to acts of love.
I love you and God is crazy in love with you ♥️
